Diana Girls Fall To Spring Hill, Take 2nd In JH Sparks Tourney

After downing White Oak's "B" team in the opening round, the 8th Grade Lady Eagles lose a close championship match to Spring Hill, 28-33.

LONGVIEW, TX Jan. 17, 2009 -- Saturday, Spring Hill's 8th grade Lady Panthers proved five points better than the New Diana squad.

The Eagles led at the half, but watched that lead disappear in a third quarter where they were held scoreless by the Spring Hill Squad.

The Lady Eagle 7th Grade squad also participated in the tourney. They fell to Spring Hill in the first round, but captured third place with a win over White Oak's Ladynecks.

Spring Hill's 7th grade squad completed a sweep, winning their championship match over Sabine, 38-26.
