Sabine Drops Gladewater In Last Man Standing Third Round

In a rematch from pool play, Sabine bested the Gladewater Bears 39-37, advancing to the championship match.

Sabine led comfortably at the half, but had to fight off a second half surge by the Bears, winning a heart-stopper at the buzzer. The Card's Noah Jackson rebounded a missed shot under the basket and layed in a touch shot off the backboard as time expired, breaking 37-37 tie.

Jackson led the Cardinal scoring, nailing 3 three pointers on the way to a game total of 12 points.

Gladewater's go-to man was DeMarcus Daniels, who led the Bear's with 12 points.
