Holding Winona scoreless for three quarters, New Diana rolls to a 55-5 road win.
WINONA, TX, Jan. 15, 2009 -- Led by the scoring of Kimberly Hendricks and Courtney Rogers, the young Lady Eagles jumped out to a 19-5 first quarter lead, and never looked back.
Meeting the Winona squad at half court with a suffocating man on man defense, the Eagles time and again caused turnovers that led to fast break sprints and easy lay-ups.
Scoring 12 unanswered points in the second quarter, New Diana took a comfortable 31-5 lead into the half, and the break didn't help Winona any.
