Lady Eagles Drop Three To Jewett-Leon In Area Play-Offs

Lady Cougars prove too strong for Diana

New Diana was eliminated from play-off contention Thursday, as the Jewett-Leon Lady Cougars swept them in three games, 25-11, 25-14 and 25-7.

Jewett-Leon, state finalists two years ago, enjoyed a bye during the district play-offs, while Diana faced a determined Daingerfield team.

Leon faces White Oak next in the Regional Quarter Finals next week.
