New Diana Lady Eagles Sweep Daingerfield


Solid serving and dominant hitting lifts Lady Eagles past Daingerfield's Lady Tigers

Ore City - Both teams traveled to Ore City for the first round of Bi-District playoffs last night.

New Diana won the lop-sided first game 25-7 on dominant net play.

Daingerfield began to find their stride in the second game, scoring a few kills of their own. Diana continued solid service and good net play, however, and triumphed 25-18.

The third game saw several lead changes, and the Eagles rallied late to pull it out 25-21.

In all, Diana had 32 kills for the win.

In other action here, Harmony's lady Eagles beat Hughes Springs 25-14, 25-15, 25-10 to advance as well.

Harmony moves on to face Arp in the next round, while New Diana takes on Leon.
