Sabine Tops Harmony

Continuing their drive for a state playoff berth, the Cardinals topped a hot-handed Eagles team 78-57.

GLADEWATER -- Ryan Rendon and Wesley Schoon combined for nine of Harmony's thirteen 3 pointers in the losing effort last night, falling to Sabine, who looks to be the team to beat in 18-2A basketball.

Sabine had four players in double digits. Noah Jackson, who led all shooters with 22 points, was joined by teammates Lie'Quan Byrd with 18, Colton Kirk with 15, and Tyler Woodrell with 11.

Rendon led the scoring for Harmony, tallying 16, followed by Wesley Schoon with 15, and Colton Bunn with 11.
